More on Fuzz
July 23rd,In my last post on hair removal, I forgot all about epilating. Tolerances vary, but, well, no one’s ever told me they napped while having it done.
Is there something wrong with using oils on the vulva? We all know no oil-based lubes in the vagina, as it can promote bacterial infection and degrade latex condoms. But what about externally, as for shaving? I don’t want to give up my cocoa butter! I’m only suspicious of petroleum-based products like Vaseline, baby oil and ointments because they clog pores — and we use those on babies.
There are medicinal oils for your parts, too! Tea tree oil is a natural antifungal that can be useful in treating/preventing yeast infections, and there’s a whole range of essential oils (including Vitamin E) said to promote health and ease vaginal dryness.
I have a bunch of heavy posts in the pipelines: a bad shoot, limits and professionalism, my waning enthusiasm for submissive video. I don’t like posting depressing stuff but I want to move them, since they’re clogging up the flow of posts.
Also upcoming this week — in pictorial form! — a Highly Scientific Experiment on the efficacy of topical arnica for bruises. Stay tuned.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using oils on the vulva. However as you know they aren’t good with condoms. Since condoms often rub against the outer labia, and sometimes rub against other proximate areas, don’t put your cocoa butter or jojoba or vitamin E oil on right before you have condom-ed sex if you want to ensure the latex stays in the best possible condition. For me oils don’t work well for the shaving process–probably personal preference/skin type–but natural oils work very well for moisturizing, including for after shaving.

Good call about the neighboring areas.
I use it after shaving — never tried it to shave with. But the discussion was inspired by Eileen’s comment that while oil helped her shave her legs, it wouldn’t be healthy to try on bits.

I think you are super duper amazing and swell. Just so you know. Big fan of you right here. And not just “Calico” … all of you.
While you may wonder why I’d be inspired to say such things in response to a blog on labia-friendly oils … but it’s mostly that you can write this AND write the “bad shoot” post. That you can make me think about my personal boundaries AND suggest a great use for tea tree oil is just phenomenal in my humble opinion.
